Abbas: No Negotiations Without Construction Freeze


Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas stated Monday that he would not enter negotiations until Israel agrees to freeze construction in Judea and Samaria and accept a PA say. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has declined to execute either.

“We are not making fresh conditions for negotiations,” Abbas said. “We just want Israel to hold by the Road map and cease construction in Judea and Samaria.
