Electric Corp. Holds Blackout Exercise


The Israel Electric Corporation held exercises Monday planning for power blackouts throughout Israel. The drill took space at power stations throughout the state.

According to the firm, Israel does not have enough power reserves to supply energy in a crisis situation. According to its statistics, the company produces only 1,000 megawatts more than the peak demand in Israel, a situation which could lead to blackouts
