Court Likud Elections Illegally Delayed

The District Court of Tel Aviv ruled Wednesday that the Likud Conference, in which members of its central commission are elected, was illegally postponed, and requested the party to hold the elections by the stop of April.

Political observers believe that Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu is afraid that the party's Jewish Leadership faction will gain power if the elections are held soon due to his unpopular decision to freeze Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria
