Deputy Minister Ayub Kara held a meeting Wednesday morning with the Pope who delivered a unique message on the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
"Today, 65 years ago, Auschwitz was liberated from the greatest murderer in human history. We must remember the Holocaust victims and condemn the shocking actions of the Nazis towards the Jews. Everyone must remember the Holocaust of the Jews to ensure that such cruelties will never be repeated.
