President Shimon Peres conducted a working visit to the unique IDF Shayeter 13 naval unit. Soldiers demonstrated some of the operations they are involved with, such as storming beaches and subduing enemy vessels in the waters off Israel's coast. Peres, along with unit members, planted a tree in memory of past members killed in action. Peres called the fighters "heroes," and stated that he was "proud of you, with all my heart."
