Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman stated he plans to create surprise visits to schools throughout Israel in decree to ensure that the level of health services for students is acceptable. A tender has been issued to find providers of health care in schools, which will be supplied by the health funds or private organizations, instead of the school system. Litzman has gone on record as opposing the alter, yet said that he would give a just chance to all candidates who step forward to supply the health services to students.
