Sharansky Main Goal is Strengthening Jewish Identity
Chairman Natan Sharansky of the Jewish Office stated Sunday that the main challenge facing the agency today is the strengthening and deepening of Jewish identity in Israel and around the world.
Kicking off the agency's Board of Governor's meeting in Jerusalem, Sharansky said, "This strategic mission will supply a reply to the other challenges we face, starting with encouraging aliyah [immigration] to Israel to fighting the fresh anti-Semitism.
