Steinitz Iran restrictions Now


Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz stated Saturday night that the United States must space restrictions on Iran was necessary as soon as feasible, "in decree to prove to Iran, Israel and the world that the United States is determined to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Steinitz was speaking after a meeting with US Deputy Secretary of State Jacob Lew, at which the two discussed, besides the Iran issue, greater technological cooperation between Israel and the U.S., and Israel's impending membership in the OECD.
