Fayyad cease IDF Operations in Judea and Samaria
Palestinian Authority (PA) Prime Minister Salam Fayyad stated on Thursday that the Israel Defense Forces should immediately cease operations in the PA-assigned areas. Speaking to a delegation from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, he said such a plod would advance peace.
Fayyad expressed optimism about Israel reaching an agreement with the PA. He said he was echoing what PA residents said, adding that the optimism could be seen on their faces
