IDF Chief Cancels Live Fire Exercises


IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi has requested the IDF to cease all live fire exercises.

The plod comes in reply to an investigation into the cause of death of soldier Mor Cohen who was killed two months ago by a bullet shot by his friends throughout a live fire exercise in a built up area. Cohen was killed in spite of the fact he stood behind a brick wall at the time of the incident
