Likud Legal Forum Meets to Counter Court decree
The Likud’s Legal Forum convened Sunday to discuss a court decision requiring the party to hold elections for its Central Commission by April, according to the party’s charter. The legal forum is looking for loopholes in decree to delay the vote.
Political observers state that party leader Binyamin Netanyahu is afraid of losing power in the Central Committee to Feiglin supporters if elections are held soon as many Likud members are upset by his decision to freeze Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria
