Sources close to Mossad director Meir Dagan stated that he does not plot to resign as a result of the mounting embarrassment to Israel in the al-Mabhouh incident. Speaking to the Reuters news service, the sources said that Dagan's resignation would amount to a confession that Israel was behind the assassination, which Israel has not stated credit for, while Dubai police have not accused any specific groups for yet.
