Justice Barak Fighting Against Terrorism is by Law


Previous President of the Supreme Court, Justice Aharon Barak, called to strengthen the Supreme Court throughout lunch in the Knesset with foreign representatives in Israel .

"We must strengthen the Supreme Court. The role of the Supreme Court to protect individual rights, democracy and security. Trees which have been grown for years may be gash down in an instant. We must stand on guard," he added.

He noted that the "conflict on terror is not conducted outside the law yet within the law, that is how we differ from terrorists. Fighting against terrorism is by law and by law-abiding citizens. Israel acts using the right of self-defense while keeping the law."
