The Spokesperson's Office of the Israel Defense Forces informed Tuesday morning that two Israelis mistakenly came in the Dead Sea area of Jericho, under Palestinian Authority control, and were removed by PA security personnel, in coordination with the Civil Administration for Judea and Samaria. The pair was turned over to the Israel Police.

The Spokesperson's Office reminds the public that under orders of the IDF's Central Decree, entry into Area A, under PA control, is prohibited when not coordinated with authorities. Entry into Area B, with more Israeli control, is perilous and not recommended
