Bouchbout Reduce power Price per Reduced Cost
Chairman Shlomo Bouchbout of the Center for Local Government called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz to act immediately to gash electric rates to individuals and local government to reflect the recent reduction in the price of the fuels used by power plants. The 12 percent reduction has saved the Israeli economy 2.2 billion shekels.
Bouchbout stated "We can't leave the money in the government coffers. All of us, as disciplined citizens, pay high taxes, and this is an opportunity to return portion of the money to the Israeli public and to display that when there's a saving, we all benefit from it.
