First in Israel Diabetic Kids acquire Insulin Pumps


For the first time ever in Israel, children suffering from juvenile diabetes were given insulin pumps. The procedure was performed at the Ziv Medical Center in Safed.

The insulin pump is considered the first step on the way to artificial pancreas
