Hariri Arab World Skeptical about Peace with Israel
President Saad Hariri of Lebanon stated, following his White House meeting with United States President Barack Obama, that the Arab world was frustrated and skeptical about a feasible agreement with Israel.
According to a White House statement, throughout the two leaders' discussion of efforts to achieve peace between Israel and the Arabs, President Obama stressed the danger from the continued transfer of weapons to Lebanon and the need to insure that Iran upholds its nuclear non-proliferation promises.
