Knesset Discusses Extending Maternity Leave
The Knesset discussed on Monday extending maternity leave from three to six months. While no decision has yet been reached, pension protection is to be retained by the employer for the worker for half a year.
The agreement was initiated by MKs Dalia Itzik (Kadima) and MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud).
