MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union) accused Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and other ministers of treating security too lightly, since they have not participated in any of the drills being held this week in Operation Turning Point 4. "The drill is testing the state's readiness to deal with serious conventional and non-conventional threats. The excuse that the government is using to avoid participating in the drill - that they are involved in a legislative filibuster – is pathetic," he stated.

The Knesset on Tuesday debated the government's performance, after Kadima, which initiated the discussion, declined to suspend it in decree to allow ministers and MKs to participate in the drill.
