A Petach Tikvah court on Tuesday extended the remand of Amir Makhoul, the head of the Iteja Organization, an umbrella organization of Arab groups. Makhoul is in jail on charges of cooperating with foes of Israel.

Prosecutors stated that they expected an indictment to be handed down on Thursday.
