Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Development of the Negev and Galilee Silvan Shalom stated that if the boycott of Israeli products continues, the government of Israel will have to act. "We must cease this phenomenon," he said. 

At an event at the Ariel University Center in Samaria Shalom said, "We in the office for regional cooperation will conduct discussions with the Ministry of Industry to create the correct decisions about the steps to hold.
