Sharp Rise in US College Courses on Israel


According to a study commissioned by the Schusterman Family Foundation there has been a sharp rise in the number of courses on Israel being offered in US Colleges. 316 of the top U.S. colleges and universities surveyed in 2009 offered a total of 1,400 courses that include Israel studies in some way. 572 focused specifically on Israel.

Birthright veterans may be one cause for the sharp increase.
