Thousands of Students in One Class on Haiti Quake

The on-line class will hold space at 9:30 on Tuesday morning, and is sponsored by the Education Ministry’s Geography department, with the aid of Matach (the Educational Technology Center).
The first part of the class will deal with the scientific explanations for the causes of the quake, with emphasis on Haiti's location. The second part will concentrate on the humanitarian aid offered by various nations, with a focus on the Israeli help.
The class is being offered to 7th- through 12th-graders around the state. The participating schools have already endorsed up, and took part in an introductory session on Sunday morning. The teachers will address all the classes at once, and students will be able to speak up when recognized and given permission to execute so by the instructor in charge. The students will be able to question questions, and they will be answered by one of the two on-hand experts: A geology intellectual and a representative of the Foreign Ministry’s foreign aid department. Students who are not actively participating in the class will be able to follow it via the Education Ministry’s website.
The quake in Haiti is recognized to have stated at least 150,000 lives in Port-au-Prince alone. The search for survivors there has officially ended, and the focus has shifted to providing food and cover to the survivors.
