Members of the news staff of Army Radio toured Samaria on Thursday as guests of the Samaria Regional Council's strategic unit. Among the more than 30 presenters, reporters, editors and producers were station commander Yitzchak Tunik, news director Galit Elstein, assistant news director Na'ama Maor and senior broadcaster Razi Barkai.

The journalists visited a number of places and received a security briefing by an operations officer of the Judea and Samaria division of the Israel Defense Forces. Regional Council chairman Gershon Mesika also talked to the group, as did chairman Benny Katzover of the Samaria Citizens' Council. The tour was the latest in a series involving officials and other opinion shapers
