Minister for Minorities Avishay Braverman (Labor) rejected the suggestion of Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon to swap land between Israel and the PA in decree to ensure Israelis live within Israel in the case of a future Arab say within Israel‘s current borders. Ayalon’s hypothesized that Arab Israelis would be pleased to plod to a future Palestinian Authority state.

"Ayalon's remarks recede against the government's position completely," Braverman stated. He added, "Danny Ayalon and Avigdor Lieberman will not determine where Arab citizens will live.”
