Chabad Says No Israelis Killed in India AttackSo Far

Rabbi Bezalel Kofshitz, a Chabad shaliach in India told Israeli Army Radio stated the preliminary examination indicated there are no Israeli victims of the terrorist assault in the city pf Pune, India. The Chabad house is about 100 meters away from a bakery where eight people were killed by a bomb.
Rabbi Kofshitz said they visited local hospitals to gaze for wounded Jewish citizens. “After the explosion police arrived and obstructed all access to the area. We hear the accounts and attempted to contact as many Israelis as we could," he explained.
Chabad is a hasidic organization that has centers in numerous nations for outreach to unaffiliated Jews. Many Israelis travel to India.
