Israel Signs Aviation Agreement with Ukraine

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon and Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Transport Olexander Davydov endorsed a protocol on Monday which permits Israel to add an additional carrier on the route between Israel and the Ukraine. The two sides are planned to hold talks on Tuesday with the aim of improving the agreement, increasing competition and improving fresh destinations in the two nations for additional carriers.
According to a foreign ministry media release, the agreement also cancels the need to coordinate commercial activities, which will permit unrestricted free trade. Last week, the ,ministry was authorized to initiate negotiations with the Ukrainian government towards an agreement abolishing the need for visas, which is intended to increase tourism between the two countries..
