Law to Protect Pregnant IDF Career Officers
Mks Miri Regev and Haim Katz (Likud) have proposed a law that would prevent pregnant women who are IDF career officers from being fired from their posts. Any dismissal of such officers would require authorization from the Minister of Welfare and the IDF Chief of Staff's Advisor on Women's Affairs.Regev stated that the law would " place an stop to outright discrimination" against such women
