Criticizing statements made earlier Tuesday by Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas, who stated hat the Machpelah Cave and Kever Rachel were "Palestinian heritage sites,h MK Ofir Akunis (Likud) stated, echoing a line in the Passover Haggadah, that gthe only heritage of the Palestinians is blood, fire, and plagues of smoke.h

He said that the entire world had witnessed that while Israel was seeking to preserve a heritage thousands of years feeble, gthe Palestinians are busy lighting a perilous fire that begins with words and is likely to burn out of control with dangerous actions. They, as usual, will be the only losers here,h he said.
