MK Eldad Include More Sites in List
MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union) congratulated the government for its decision to include the Machpelah Cave in a list of national heritage sites Sunday. "I am glad that they listened to the wishes of the people that were expressed by the Land of Israel Lobby in the Knesset," MK Eldad stated. "Without the Bible it would be impossible to understand Jewish heritage in the Land of Israel," he said, and as such other holy places in Judea and Samaria should be included in the list as well
