Mesika Samaria Cradle of Jewish Life
Samaria Regional Council head Gershon Mesika appealed to government ministers to include sites in Judea and Samaria in the government's fresh heritage site project. In a letter, Mesika stated that "Samaria is the cradle of Jewish history and tradition, the space where the Jewish nation was born. Thus it is odd why many central biblical sites in Samaria are not listed in the program."
