Ministry Intel used up $$392 Million in Israel in 2009

International computer processor developer Intel continued its strong relationship with Israel in 2009, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor stated Sunday. Throughout 2009, the Ministry said, Intel use up $392 million in services and products, founded on an agreement the firm has with the government. Altogether, Intel's contribution to the Israeli economy was some $3.5 billion, the Ministry said.In 2006, Intel received a $524 million grant from the government, in exchange for which the company promised to purchase goods and services from Israeli companies worth at least $810 million, among2006 and 2016. Since 2006, the Ministry said, Intel has made purchases from over 300 Israeli companies.
