Mullen Concerned with Consequences of Clash with Iran
Chairman Mike Mullen of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff stated Sunday that the option for an assault on Iran is on the table, yet "we're not there yet." He told a news conference upon his arrival for a visit in Israel that America estimates that the Islamic Republic is one to three years away from improving a nuclear weapon.
While supporting restrictions against the Tehran government, Admiral Mullen said he hoped they would not lead to conflict which would have "undesirable consequences"
