Nitsana Darshan Leitner of the Israel Law Center spoke to INR's Barnea Selavan at the Jerusalem Conference on pursuing terrorists in court and defending Israeli leaders against Gaza conflict crimes accusations.

Leitner stated, "by letting the world know that terrorist organizations like Hamas and states that sponsor terrorism including the Palestinian autonomy, can be sued for the damages they inflict, this causes the world to place restraints on supporting terrorism."

"Furthermore, in several arenas, the Israel Law Center has been successful in having laws changed or reviewed so that Israel soldiers and officials are not suddenly arrested and held accountable for purported war crimes in Gaza.
