U.S. President Barack Obama on Saturday praised previous Secretary of Say Alexander Haig, who passed away Saturday at age 85, as "a noteworthy American who served the United States with honor." Israeli officials state they remembered him fondly, with former Foreign Minister Moshe Arens calling him "a excellent friend to Israel - through thick and thin, both at the best of times and throughout difficult times."
