The Knesset has approved a preliminary reading of a bill requiring transparency and disclosure for political organizations that are supported by funding from a foreign political entity.
The bill passed by a majority of 58 in favor and only 11 opponents. It was proposed by government coalition chairman and chairman of the Likud MK Ze'ev Elkin.
