Shekel Weaker Across the Board
The shekel was down against all the currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign exchange rate list on Monday. A number of currencies, including the Australian and Canadian dollars and the currencies of Norway, Sweden and Switzerland, gained more than a percent.
The Euro was fixed at NIS 5.1208, up .898 percent, while the pound sterling rose .874 percent to 5.8281 shekels. The United States dollar was set at NIS 3.766, up .16 percent, the same increase as recorded by the Jordanian dinar, which was fixed at 5.3155 shekels
