Yesha Council Cave Belongs at Top of List

The Yesha Council on Sunday congratulated the government for including the Machpelah Cave - and the Tomb of Rachel – in the list of national heritage sites that will be refurbished and where more efforts will be made to direct tourists. "If the purpose of the program is to increase the connection with the Land of our Fathers, there is no better way to execute this than to include these sites at the top of the list. This is a noteworthy accomplishment for the Land of Israel Lobby in the Knesset, that was recently set up with the aid of the Yesha Council, and on Sunday morning toured the Hevron and Gush Etzion areas."

Lobby Mks who participated in the tour are expected to create a statement at the Machpelah Cave Sunday afternoon
