commission Allow Extra Time for Foreign employees
Chairman of the Knesset Commission on Foreign Employees, MK Yaakov Katz (Katzeleh), stated throughout a committee hearing Wednesday that due to the distress of farmers, it was decided to extend the period that foreign workers are allowed to stay in the state and not to recruit fresh ones in their space.
"The commission calls to extend the stay of foreign workers in Israel, who completed their 63 month period and allow them to stay until the end of 2010. No workers will be asked to leave until new ones arrive,” the Committee added
