Three thousand years after King David made Hevron his first capital, the city is a center of religious emotion, patriotism and tension. 

Following the government decision to add the Cave of Machpelah, where the Jewish Patriarchs are buried, to list of financed heritage sites, Arab and Jewish local leaders faced the press there Monday. The first video features Noam Arnon, spokesman of the Hevron Jewish population. The second features the PA's Mustafa Barghouti, with questions by veteran Hevron resident and spokesman David Wilder.
