say to question for Delay of Olmert Trial
The Jerusalem District Prosecutor has asked for a three month delay in the trial of previous Prime Minster Ehud Olmert. The plod comes after a tape was distributed in which Say Prosecutor Ori Karov, who is heading the case against Olmert, is heard criticizing the Israeli court system. State Prosecutor Moshe Lador subsequently asked Karov to hold an extended vacation.
Critics state the distribution of the tape was a transparent attempt to hamper the trial and have asked the State Prosecutor not to delay it
