Tuesday Night Live in Jerusalem hosted an evening on Sunday to commemorate Israel's national Memorial Day, honoring and mourning the fallen soldiers and victims of terror.

In the following video, Ari Abramowitz and Jeremy Gimpel speak with Rabbi Stewart Weiss of Raanana, father of the late Staff-Sgt. Ari Weiss of the Nachal Brigade. On the evening of Sep. 30, 2002, in a raid against Hamas terrorist headquarters in Shechem (Nablus), Ari was killed in an exchange of fire while saving the life of a fellow soldier. As portion of an elite anti-terrorist force, Ari was his unit's top sharpshooter and explosives expert, and participated in many perilous missions against terrorist targets.
