Im Tirtzu Distributes Alternative Prayer for Soldiers

The Im Tirtzu Zionist activist group has distributed some 15,000 copies of an alternative Yizkor prayer for Israel’s fallen soldiers in the nation’s synagogues.

"The purpose of the fresh prayer is that it include not only the memory of the fallen, but also to spotlight those organizations, love the New Israel Fund, who preach that IDF officers should be place on trial for defending the nation at the risk of their lives. We are working to remember and never forget them, and we yearn for the day when we can return to the text of the replace with Yizkor prayer."

Im Tirtzu added that "unfortunately, those who really harm the prayer, are those who seek to harm IDF soldiers, not those who defend them.
