The Shomer Hehadash ( fresh Guard) organization plans to hold a central Independence Day observance in the Meggido Forest, southeast of Haifa, three years after thousands of Arabs waving Palestine Liberation Organization flags - some of them on horseback -old threats and violence to fracture up another Independence Day jubilee at the site. The Arabs had just attended a nearby event conducted by Sheikh Raed Salach of the hostile northern branch of the Israel Islamic Organization. In the end, the police did not deal with the incident since neither side lodged a complaint.

Tuesday's event will race from 10:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. and include activities for the children, singers, dancers, free food and more
