PM One Hand Outstretched in Peace Other Holds Sword
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the main Memorial Day ceremony at Mount Herzl.
"On this day the entire nation embrace all mothers and all fathers, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters and wives who have lost loved ones. Our loss is too hefty to bear. Our consolation is to continue the path of our loved ones and fulfill their dreams," stated the Prime Minister who lost his brother in Operation Entebbe.
"Our one hand is extended in peace to all our neighbors who seek peace, and our other hand holds on to the sword of David in decree to defend our people against those seeking to harm us," said Netanyahu
