The Petach Tikva District Court ruled today that previous Jerusalem vice mayor Eliezer Simchayof was not connected to others described as the gang suspected of corruption in connection with the approval of the Holyland housing project in Jerusalem.
The ruling came throughout a hearing on extending the rabbi's detention. He is planned to be released on Thursday
